Description
Up for bids is a lightly circulated, lustrous French Indo-China 1914-A 20 Centimes, graded PCGS AU55. Tough date. Abundant mint luster, especially on the reverse. Very light gold tone. The coin is not as dark as the PCGS photo makes it appear. My photos accurately portray the color. The capital “A” on the reverse, below the denomination and within the wreath, identifies the Paris mint. This classic design was used continuously from 1879 to 1946 by the French for their Cochin China and Indo-China colonial issues, for the 10 Centimes, 20 Centimes and 50 Centimes denominations.Bidding starts at .95. Domestic U.S. buyer (including APOs and FPOs) pays .00 for USPS First-Class Package shipping, including tracking, which normally takes 2-3 days for delivery in the lower 48.
International buyer pays between .25 and .75, depending on the country of destination, for U.S. Postal Service First-Class International Shipping, which includes tracking. Prospective buyer may request a quote.
14-day return privilege, buyer pays return shipping. If you have a question, send me a message. I always respond promptly.
These coins were created by the French for use in commerce in her Southeast Asian colonies in the late 19th and the first half of the 20th century. This commercial purpose is underscored by the inclusion in the reverse of the coins weight (5.4 grams) and silver fineness (0.835).
